The Parent Academy will not be a building but a program. Parents are crying out for help in dealing with their children and our students in today’s society. Unfortunately, the support systems are few, but the Parent Academy will definitely fill this void.
The Parent Academy will be a clearinghouse for quality research and information on good parenting skills and practices. Parents will be able to access information through the use of technology, as well as by telephone / mail requests. Also, publications and presentations to parent groups will be available. 
The Parent Academy will develop or adopt curriculum on parent education that will be available to schools and community groups. Seminars, workshops, or training sessions will be conducted by the Parent Academy as well as funding the programs designed and implemented at the school level.
